The uterus had a hydrometra and the lumen contained sqamous epithelial debris. There may have been an obstruction within distal reproductive tract, preventing drainage during cycling. Tissue fixation quality is good. An acute endometritis was also present. No bacteria was seen and this most likely was secondary. Tissue fixation quality is good.
