Oral Glucose Tolerance

Description: The oral glucose tolerance test (oGTT) measures glucose levels following administration of a glucose challenge. A fasting blood sample is taken before the bolus of glucose is administered. Blood samples are collected every 30 minutes for 1 1/2 hours and tested for glucose by an Accu-Chek glucometer.

Measurements: Glucose Tolerance 0 minute Plasma Glucose, Glucose Tolerance 30 minute Plasma Glucose, Glucose Tolerance 60 minute Plasma Glucose, Glucose Tolerance 90 minute Plasma Glucose
